- 2 Corinthians 4:16-17 (KJV) “For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.” This passage encourages believers to focus on the eternal and spiritual, rather than the temporary and physical, assuring that trials are producing an eternal glory that far outweighs them.
- Psalm 46:1 (KJV) “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” The Psalmist declares God as a constant source of protection and strength, reassuring believers of God’s immediate presence in times of need.
- 1 Peter 5:10 (KJV) “But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.” Peter assures believers that, after a period of suffering, God Himself will restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish them, highlighting the refining purpose of trials.
