In this fallen world we all are fighting with sin that always seduces us to commit mistakes. The word of God says our enemy Satan is walking around us just like a roaring lion who is seeking us to destroy.
We the children of God must be clever enough to overcome the temptations that we face in our everyday life. We cannot compromise with evil as it contradicts God’s law.
We need to resist the Devil with the word of God. The Bible says the word of God is so powerful that it can break any bondages. To be victorious we need to apply them in our lives so we can defeat all the temptations that Satan brings before us.
Even Jesus also confronted the same temptations but he rested them by the word of God. So we are to follow Jesus and resist our enemy who is seeking our weakness to pull us down from the Lord.
To fight this battle we need divine guidance and here the following scriptures are given for us to resist the devil in times of temptation.
