How Can We Make Our God Happy

How Can We Make Our God Happy

Paul urges us in his letters to make ourselves worthy to be acceptable to God. Here on this earth, we have a great job that is to please God by doing his wills. God has shown his mercy to redeem us from eternal death. Now we must give our heart to make him happy.

We are here to offer our bodies a living sacrifice and we need to live a holy life by which we can please our God (Romans 12:1). God seeks our inner person whom he created according to his own image.

God exists and it should be believed who desires to get rewards from him. None can please God without believing him.  The people of God must believe him and come closer to him that makes him happy  (Hebrews 11:6).

God loves to test our hearts and our main goal must be to please him instead of pleasing men of this world. God has called us to focus on him and we are to give our heart to satisfy him by walking in his promises (1 Thessalonians 2:4).

God’s light opens people’s minds to understand what is right and what is wrong. The children of God need to understand that God loves them and they are called to please God (Ephesians 5:8-10).

Our lives on this earth have a great purpose where we are to serve God. The way we live, talk, behave with others, and interact with God have a tremendous impact on our eternal life.  Remembering the final place where we will reach we must please God in our ways.

To Make God Happy We Must Give Him Priority

In the beginning, God’s relationship with mankind was displayed in the garden of Eden. The fall of man-caused God to be removed from him. Yet his love is manifested through the Bible.

The Lord first showed his love to mankind and afterward, the man loved him (1 John 4:19). Moses asked his people to love their Lord with all their hearts, mind, and soul (Deuteronomy 6:5). If people love anything more than God then this is a sinful act in the sight of God.

The people of Israel were commanded to love their God so they may keep his words and obey him (Deuteronomy 11:1).

After the death of Moses, Joshua became the leader and he reminded his people to love God and obey all of his ways. They were told to put God in order to receive blessings and guidance from him (Joshua 22:5).

God demanded his people to love and seek him so that they hate evil and understand how to live to overcome their enemies (Psalm 97:10).

We need to love God as he hears our prayer and delivers us from all our trials (Psalm 116:1).

Jesus also told us to love God and it is the greatest commandment of all. A believer must please God by loving him than anything else (Mark 12:33).

To Make God Happy We Need To Love Our Neighbours

The Bible does not encourage to take revenge but it teaches its readers to love their neighbors by forgiving their mistakes (Leviticus 19:18). We love our family because they are our dear ones and Jesus says we need to love our neighbors in that same manner. God knows everything and he is always looking at us whether we are obeying him or not (Matthew 19:19).

Believers should always love their neighbors which makes them receive blessings from the Lord. Jesus also confirms that everyone needs to love their neighbors who dwell around them (Mark 12:31).

The entire law is fulfilled in one word that believer should love his neighbors. God wants to reveal himself through his people. He demanded his followers not to fight and quarrel with their neighbors (Galatians 5:14).

To Make God Happy We Must Love Our Enemies

Christians should love their enemies and they need to constantly forgive them and God will change the hearts of their enemies through their prayer. As we believe that our prayer to God does not go vain (Matthew 5:44).

God is gracious and because of his grace, we are saved and got a new life which makes us love our rivals and we need to extend our help hand while they are in need of things (Luke 6:35).

We Need To Seek God’s Kingdom First

God loves those who seek his kingdom and work for the extension of it. Jesus promised that they will never face any shortage in their lives if they seek God’s kingdom in their lives. Everything will be given to them when they will think for God’s kingdom ( Matthew 6:33).

Jesus told his disciples to preach the Gospel to the world for the salvation of people. It is important for every believer to be concerned about the evangelism of the gospel which has the power to redeem people from eternal separation (Mark 16:15).

We Must Obey His Words

God would be pleased if we obey all of his words and keep them in our hearts. God likes to see his people walk in his commandments and they will be blessed while they stay in his words (1 John 3:22).

In the beginning, while Peter and the rest of the apostles preached the gospel they faced severe opposition from the Jews leaders. They did not give up the task that Jesus gave them to do. They boldly announced that they will obey God instead of hearing the words of those simple men who have no authority over man’s salvation (Acts 5:29).

We Should Give Our Efforts In Knowing Him

God loves people who seek him throughout their lives and always walk with him (Proverbs 8:17). God knows the effect if a man does not seek him and obey him in his life. He will easily be deceived by the world and finally, he will be destroyed.

God does not want his people to perish. He wants to give us peaceful life and he also wants us to search for him as long as we live here. We are not worthy to fight our battle alone. We must seek his strength to get the victory (Psalm 105:4).

God Is Happy When We Forgive Others

The fundamental teaching of Jesus is to forgive others. God has forgiven us while we were sinners. Believers should be kind to one another. They must have brotherly love in them and they should forgive each other as God pleases with this act (Ephesians 4:32).

God forgives our sins when we forgive others who commit mistakes against us (Matthew 6:14-15).

God’s children should not judge each other as they are to love and forgive others in order to be forgiven their sins (Luke 6:37).

For the forgiveness of our sins, we should also forgive others’ sins and every believer should take care of others. They must not complain against each other rather they should show kindness and forgiveness (Colossians 3:13).

Jesus answered Peter nicely when he asked how often we should forgive our brothers. Jesus told him to forgive him as many times his brother seeks forgiveness (Matthew 18:21-22).

Share Your Things To Others To Please God

One becomes a new creation after receiving Christ and he gains the new man which is created in the righteousness of God. He should share his things with others who are in need. Christ makes him share his belonging with others by doing such sacrificial acts he can please God (Hebrews 13:16).

Jesus teaches his followers to have a mind to share their things with others as we all are equal in God’s sight., there must not be any division that can cause division (Luke 3:11).

We can make God happy by giving our things to the poor. This act of giving results in us getting back more blessings from God (Proverbs 19:17).

The teachings of Jesus make one sacrifice for others. The disciples were eager to bear the load of others. This same act should be done by every faithful follower of Jesus to fulfill the law of Jesus Christ (Galatians 6:2).

Those who decided to share their things with others must do it cheerfully and God loves those givers (2 Corinthians 9:7).

Christians are called to do good works among the men so people will know the one true God by the good works of his children. They are the light of this world and they need to show the good things of God by doing such charitable acts (Matthew 5:16).

God blesses his people who share his things with the poor. They will be received divine blessings from the Lord (Proverbs 22:9).

After the ascension of Jesus, his disciples and other followers gathered together in prayers and they brought their belonging and they had everything in common ( Acts4:32).

We Need To Fear God

God does not feel happy with the things of this world but he pleases when his people fear him and honor him. God loves to see fear in the hearts of his people as he is their creator and protector (Psalm 147:10-11).

A man who fears God gets wisdom that leads him to get everlasting life. On the other hand, a fool rejects God’s wisdom and ways by living a careless life to the Lord (Proverbs 1:7).

The reason God wants his people to fear him is that will help them to stay away from evil and makes them humble before the Lord. They will be aware of sinful natures which can lead in the wrong direction (Proverbs 8:13).

God knows what we need and he seeks us to rely on him by fearing him and it helps us to avoid sins and death which Satan brings in our lives to destroy us  (Proverbs 14:27).

Jesus says to his disciples to fear the Lord as he has the authority to destroy both soul and body (Matthew 10:28).

God is merciful and he pours out his blessing from generation to generation who fear God (Luke 1:50).

A man would be called God’s friend if he fear the Lord and he will understand the covenant that God makes with him. It is impossible to know the plan of God until we fear him and come closer to him (Psalm 25:14).

God has promised to bless his people who will fear him will have no shortage ever. God loves us and seeks our hearts where we need to step forward with a fearful heart (Psalm 34:9).
