We can now communicate with the Lord because of the grace of Jesus Christ. We can tell him whatever we’re thinking, and he will respond to us at the right time.
The word of God is so powerful that it can break all bonds, and in Jesus Christ, we are set free. To strengthen our relationship with the Lord, we must read the Bible on a regular basis.
When we set aside time to read the Bible before going to bed, we are literally conversing with our Creator, and we are acknowledging his goodness. Reading and meditating on God’s word allows us to get insight into God’s heart and begin to think as He does.
We should meditate on the scripture before going to bed because we never know how long we will live, and we may not wake up the next day if God does not allow us to view his magnificent creation.
Let us read the following passages to see what God wants to say to us.
Psalm 127:2 “It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.”
We must prioritize God and allow Him to lead us in accordance with His righteousness. If we do not give him the authority to lead us, all of our efforts will be for naught. If God is in command of our life, we will be blessed and witness his miraculous wonders in our midst.
Matthew 11:28-29 “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.”
Those who are exhausted in their lives have been summoned by Jesus. They will never have hope unless they come to know Jesus. Only Jesus can assist a person who has lost all hope and transform him by the blessings of the heavens.
Psalm 4:8 “I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety.”
God is always watching over us and will never abandon us. We can sleep quietly and enjoy our days on this planet because of his existence. As a result, we must thank him for his generosity and favors every night before we go to bed.
Matthew 6:34 “Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”
We are to live a victorious life because the Lord is with us, and we should not be concerned about tomorrow. Because Jesus has risen from the dead and is able to meet all of our everyday needs, life with him is simply amazing.
2 Thessalonians 3:16 “Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.”
Jesus is the Prince of Peace, and we can have peace when we accept him and walk with him. Nothing can harm us while we seek the eternal life that has been purchased for us through Jesus’ blood.
Isaiah 41:10 “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”
God tells us not to be afraid because he has promised to strengthen us when we are weak. We will be blessed as a result of His tremendous presence guiding us to our destiny.
Matthew 7:7 “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.”
Romans 12:12 “Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;”
Isaiah 40:31 “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
1 Peter 1:3 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,”
Psalm 39:7 “And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope is in thee.”
Deuteronomy 31:6 “Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.”
Zephaniah 3:17 “The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.”
Hebrews 12:1-2 “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
Psalm 144:15 “Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God is the Lord.”
Psalm 16:11 “Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.”
Philippians 4:4 “Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.”
Psalm 37:4 “Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.”
Ecclesiastes 2:26 “For God giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that is good before God. This also is vanity and vexation of spirit.”
Nehemiah 8:10 “Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
Mark 10:27 “And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.”
1 Peter 5:7 “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”
Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”
Psalm 34:8 “O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.”
Psalm 107:1 “O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.”
We are to give thanks to the Lord for his numerous blessings. He is our caring father who meets all of our requirements on schedule. It is our responsibility to express our gratitude for his incredible love for us.
